The list of inactive players for the Green Bay Packers’ week two matchup with the Minnesota Vikings is here. and Packers fans got some great news. Left tackle David Bakhtiari is not on the list, meaning that he will be active and will start in today’s game.
This is critical for Green Bay’s offense in this week two matchup. Bakhtiari will likely match up with Everson Griffen for much of the game, and the three-time Pro Bowl defensive end has had some great battles with Bakhtiari over the years.
The Vikings, meanwhile, will be without at least one key players in their secondary. Slot cornerback Mackensie Alexander was ruled out on Friday’s injury report, and will be inactive, joined by fellow cornerback Mike Hughes. However, two members of the Minnesota starting lineup are also out, after being listed as questionable on Friday. Those players are linebacker Ben Gedeon and left guard Pat Elflein. That likely leaves the Vikings to start second-year pro Eric Wilson for Gedeon and veteran backup lineman Dakota Dozier for Elflein.
Here are the complete lists for both teams.
