Finally, college football fans have a week with some great-looking matchups on the schedule! Two games this weekend pit top-15 teams against one another, with one featuring a pair of teams in the top seven.
In the early slate, there’s really one good option for fans of the sport, and it features the Wisconsin Badgers. Paul Chryst’s 13th-ranked team hosts the 11th-ranked Michigan Wolverines at Camp Randall Stadium, as the two teams play each other for the third straight year despite being in opposite divisions in the Big Ten. The home team has dominated the past two years, with Michigan winning 38-13 a year ago and Wisconsin earning a 24-10 victory in 2017.
In the evening, we get the premier matchup of the weekend, as #7 Notre Dame travels south to play the third-ranked Georgia Bulldogs. These two teams met two years ago in South Bend, when Georgia scored a late field goal to earn a 20-19 victory. Tune in this evening to see which of these teams takes a big hit to their playoff chances.
Here’s your schedule and open thread for today’s games.
