APC NFL Picks, Week 4: Vikings-Bears has most intrigue of this week’s games

We all blew it for Thursday Night Football. Every Acme Packing Company contributor picked the Green Bay Packers to beat the Philadelphia Eagles this week to get week four underway across the NFL. Of course, the Eagles rode their running game and good field position to a 34-27 victory at Lambeau Field, making us look a bit silly.

But with a delay in our NFL Picks for the weekend, we’ve got them here for your perusal. This week’s contests have few games that actually split the vote across our various contributors, as a whopping eight of this week’s 15 games were unanimous picks. Furthermore, another four games have just a single writer picking the underdog this week.

That leaves three contests that appear to be somewhat interesting, at least from a competitiveness perspective. The NFC North battle between the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings is one of them, and it will likely be a tough slog at Soldier Field in the afternoon. APC favors Chicago there, as does Vegas, but not by a large margin.

The other two games with split decisions are the Jaguars-Broncos contest, which was split almost evenly, and the Monday Night Football game between the Steelers and Bengals. Pittsburgh gets our narrow edge in that contest, which will be an intriguing matchup of underperforming divisional rivals who truly seem to hate one another.
