The Green Bay Packers are the NFL’s first 1-0 team this season, and today another 26 teams will be fighting on the field to join them. While two games will kick off on Monday Night Football this week, the opening week of the season features 13 games on Sunday.
Among them are the other two teams in the NFC North. The Minnesota Vikings host the Atlanta Falcons as one of the early games, while the Detroit Lions are on the road playing the Arizona Cardinals in the afternoon. Will either or both of them join the Packers at 1-0 on the season? Tune in today to find out.
For Sunday Night Football, the defending Super Bowl champions, the New England Patriots, get to host. They did not play on Thursday due to the NFL celebrating long-time history (the Packers-Bears rivalry of course) rather than recent history, but they still get a Prime Time slot as they host the Pittsburgh Steelers, fellow contenders in the AFC.
