The Green Bay Packers have opened up their lead on the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday evening, stretching their advantage out to 14-3. The Packers scored their second touchdown of the night on a one-yard run by Aaron Jones, a play that was confirmed on review after it was initially uncertain whether he had crossed the goal line.
However, Davante Adams was the big-play guy on the drive, accounting for 62 yards on the series. Adams caught passes for 11, 18, and 15 yards on the drive’s first three plays, then drew a pass interference call on Shaquill Griffin for another 18 yards and a first down. He did drop an end-around pass on first-and-goal from the one-yard line, but because it was a forward pass it was ruled incomplete.
That brings Adams’ totals through about 20 minutes of play to five receptions for 78 yards and one touchdown, a 20-yarder on the Packers’ first drive of the game.
Jones, meanwhile, has eight carries for 32 yards in the game, adding the touchdown on third-and-one.
