The Green Bay Packers may be without arguably their second best wide receiver for the rest of a playoff game.
Allen Lazard suffered an ankle injury when he and Aaron Jones collided with him at the end of a run and is questionable to return. Lazard was able to jog back to the locker room which could be considered a hopeful sign for a potential return.
Lazard was a revelation for the Packers in the second half of the season as a reliable target for Aaron Rodgers but he struggled early in tonight’s playoff contest. He forced Green Bay to take a time out after he couldn’t get on the field in time during the game’s opening drive and then was called for offensive pass interference before he was injured.
Green Bay continues to move the ball well in his absence however as they lead the Seattle Seahawks 21-3 at the half. Hopefully there will be an update on Lazard’s availability once the second half begins.
