Davante Adams is cooking Seahawk for dinner at Lambeau Field on Sunday night. The Green Bay Packers’ top receiver is playing like a superstar in the team’s Divisional Playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks this evening, and early in the third quarter he scored his second touchdown of the game to give the Packers a three-possession lead.
Following a Seahawks touchdown drive on the opening series of the third quarter, the Packers got back to work with the passing game. Aaron Rodgers found Jimmy Graham with a beautiful floating pass on a third and six, as the play went for 27 yards and set up the Packers on Seattle’s side of midfield.
A few plays later, Adams made a Tre Flower smoothie, putting the Seahawks cornerback in the blender. Adams started to the inside then cut towards the sideline before hauling in a tough catch on a pass from Aaron Rodgers. Then, with Flowers awaiting his next move, Adams cut back towards the hashes, angling his way to the end zone for a highlight-reel 40-yard touchdown reception.

That reception was Adams’ seventh of the game and his second touchdown, totaling 128 yards through the air at that point in the game. The score extended the Packers’ lead back to three possessions at 28-10; however, the Seahawks responded right back behind Russell Wilson’s legs, scoring to pull back within 11 at 28-17.
Stay tuned, folks.
