While there are still three games left to go in the NFL playoffs, major college football wraps up its season this evening with the College Football Playoff National Championship Game. It’s a battle of teams with Tiger mascots tonight, as number one LSU effectively hosts number three Clemson in New Orleans.
The game being at the Superdome is a huge advantage for LSU, whose home stadium is located about 75 miles from tonight’s venue. That will ensure a substantial advantage for LSU in fan attendance, with something around 75 percent of the stadium likely to be clad in purple and gold rather than purple and orange.
This game is getting a full “Megacast” treatment from the ESPN family of networks, with numerous different options for taking in the contest. Tune in for plenty of different commentary choices, as well as some interesting viewing angles available through the ESPN App.
