It is officially the Friday before the NFC Championship Game, and the final injury reports have been released for the Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers.
There is only one name on either team’s report, and it is Packers fullback Danny Vitale. He has been dealing with a knee injury and missed the game last week against the Seattle Seahawks.
Geronimo Allison was listed during the week with an illness, but he was full participant in practice on Friday, which means he is ready to go for Sunday, where the offensive will need to be in top shape against a stout 49ers defense. Meanwhile, wide receiver Allen Lazard, who suffered an ankle injury against the Seahawks, was also full participant.
Besides Danny Vitale, the only Packers who were limited participants in Friday’s practice were Jimmy Graham, Marcedes Lewis and Tramon Williams, but that was simply due to veteran rest to be ready for the game. San Francisco’s only limited player on Friday was linebacker Kwon Alexander, who recently returned from injured reserve after spending time there with a torn pectoral muscle.
Other than that, everyone else on the 53 man rosters were in practice, which means the Packers and 49ers are as healthy as they could hope for going into the second-to-last week of the season.
