APC NFL Picks, Wild Card Round: Saints will beat Vikings, advance to play at Lambeau

On Sunday, the Green Bay Packers’ opponent in the Divisional round of the playoffs will be determined. There are three options for the team that will come to Lambeau Field next week. If the New Orleans Saints beat the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday of Wild Card weekend, the Saints will head to Green Bay; if the Vikings win, then the Packers will host the winner of the second Sunday game between the Seattle Seahawks and Philadelphia Eagles.

So who will emerge as the Packers’ opponent? We at APC have picked the results of these two games — plus the two AFC games on Saturday.

Not surprisingly, APC is overwhelmingly picking the Saints to win. New Orleans is the biggest favorites of the weekend, despite facing arguably the best Wild Card team in either conference. If that happens, it doesn’t matter who wins the Seattle-Philly game. Still, APC sees that contest being a tough one to predict, with a near-even split with picks for that game.
