Through three games, the Tennessee Titans rank third-worst in the NFL in yards allowed per game. Tennessee has given up over 450 yards in two straight contests, including over 160 yards on the ground in back-to-back games. Meanwhile, the Titans have outscored their three opponents by a total of six points this season.
And yet they sit at 3-0, with three wins all coming by the skin of their teeth against teams with losing records. A chance for Tennessee to stake a claim that they are not a fraudulent undefeated came and went last week when their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers was postponed several weeks due to a multitude of positive coronavirus tests in the Titans organization.
This week, the franchise appears to have settled back into following the NFL’s required protocols, and it has seen the positive tests drop to a point where they can once again practice. Now they will finally get that real test, as the 4-0 Buffalo Bills come to town a few days later than initially scheduled. Will Josh Allen continue his hot start or will the Titans find a way to slow him down?
Tune in on this odd Tuesday night to find out.
