With about 24 hours to go until their week six matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Green Bay Packers have reportedly made a roster move to bolster the team. The Packers came into Saturday with just 50 players on the active roster, allowing for three more players to be added to the 53 with another two available practice squad elevation spots.

One of the open roster spots has gone to a player coming off injured reserve. On Saturday, the team is going to activate wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown off injured reserve, making him eligible for Sunday’s game. He will likely be active on Sunday with the team having a key player at his positions still on injured reserve in Allen Lazard.

St. Brown was inactive in week one with an injury, so if he plays on Sunday it will be his first game action since late in 2018, his rookie season. He spent all of 2019 on injured reserve with an ankle injury.

Kamal Martin, the Packers’ fifth-round draft pick in 2020, will not be eligible for his first NFL game action this weekend as he was not activated on Saturday. He went on injured reserve on the Sunday after final cuts following an injury he suffered near the end of training camp.
