Amid the rescheduling of NFL games in recent weeks due to COVID test results, the last few weeks have seen some truly strange game times. From Monday Night Football doubleheaders to Tuesday games, the schedule has been more flexible — by necessity — than ever before.
Tonight we see that once again, as the game originally scheduled for Thursday night will be played early this evening (or late this afternoon, depending on your time zone) as part of a Monday doubleheader. That game, which features a pair of one-loss teams in the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs, should be a good one and is happening this evening because Buffalo’s game with the Tennessee Titans a week ago was pushed to Tuesday. The NFL then moved this game back from Thursday to give Buffalo more time to recover and avoid forcing them to play two games in three days.
Following that contest, we get the normal Monday Night Football game, which features Mike McCarthy’s Dallas Cowboys — now without Dak Prescott — hosting the Arizona Cardinals.
Join us for both games today as we follow along with these intriguing matchups.
