Aaron Jones and six other Green Bay Packers players are listed as either doubtful or questionable for Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans. Running back Tyler Ervin has already been ruled out, as has defensive lineman Tyler Lancaster.
Jones is the most noteworthy development, popping up on the injury report with a calf issue today. He says it developed during Thursday’s practice and he’ll be making every effort to be on the field on Sunday. Officially, he’s listed as questionable for the game.
Montravius Adams, Corey Linsley, Preston Smith, and Robert Tonyan are also listed as questionable. Linsley was added to the injury report Thursday after reporting issues with his back, which also bothered him last season. Lucas Patrick stepped at center when Linsley missed time last season, and also played center briefly earlier this season when Linsley left a game with a thumb injury.
Left tackle David Bakhtiari, cornerback Kevin King, and safety Darnell Savage are all doubtful for Sunday’s game. Bakhtiari is dealing with a chest injury while both King and Savage are dealing with quadricep issues. Bakhtiari hasn’t missed a game since 2017.
