Have you been waiting all day for Sunday Night? The Green Bay Packers certainly have been, but they will finally kick off against the Chicago Bears in a few minutes.
The two teams are meeting for the first time this season in week 12, making it the latest that they have played their first game of a season since 2005. That year, the legendary rivals played two December games, first in week 13 on December 4th and then again on Christmas night. The two teams will then close out the 2020 season in Chicago in week 17.
Tonight’s game will be broadcast on NBC, with the unusual backup SNF crew of Mike Tirico, Tony Dungy, and Kathryn Tappen calling the game due to the normal broadcasting team getting the Steelers-Ravens game on Tuesday.
This game is also the first opportunity for one of these teams to record their 100th all-time win against the other. The Packers currently lead the all-time series 99-95-6, including playoffs, so a victory tonight for the green and gold would give them triple digits.
Keep it here at Acme Packing Company throughout tonight’s game as we bring you full updates and news.
