Today, we find ourselves at a turning point. We can go one of two directions, and our choices will define our future.

On one path, we accept the status quo, believing the things that hold us back are external forces outside our control. A steady hand will see us through, and we must just keep doing what we’ve been doing and it will see us through to our goal.

On the other, change is necessary. We need something new to get us to where we want to be. Some new addition to the scene will bring us the prosperity we hope for, and only a decision today, right now, will get us there.

I’m speaking, of course, about the trade deadline. The Packers have until 4 p.m. ET today to make a trade, or they’ll have to stay the course with whoever is already on the roster for the remainder of this season.

Unless there was something else going on today?

As a gadget enthusiast, this is extremely exciting. As someone who’s been nearly run off the road three times in the past two days by people holding their phones with both hands while attempting to drive, I look forward to news of the first texting and flying crash. Cool video though!
