Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander is being evaluated for a concussion.
Alexander left the Packers’ game against San Francisco in the second quarter after making a hit on 49ers running back Jamycal Hasty. His absence was announced during the drive after Raven Greene’s interception.
The Packers are already a little bit light in the secondary even prior to Alexander’s absence. Kevin King is out for the fourth straight game with a quad injury, and the Packers are also missing safeties Will Redmond and Vernon Scott.
Chandon Sullivan appeared to take Alexander’s spot in the immediate aftermath of the injury, and the Packers have some other options at corner for tonight’s game if they need additional help. Undrafted free agent Stanford Samuels is active for the first time tonight, and safety Henry Black is also up from the practice squad to lend a spot in the secondary. Ka’Dar Hollman is the only other active corner tonight.
