Packers vs. Panthers, Week 15 2020: Game time, TV broadcast, online streaming, & more

This weekend’s game starts at a weird time and is on a weird network. Here’s how and when to tune in.

Saturday NFL games are weird. Saturday night games are weirder. But Saturday night games on NFL Network? That makes for an especially unusual broadcast situation, one that Green Bay Packers and Carolina Panthers fans will need to navigate this weekend in order to watch their teams play.

Late in a typical NFL season, the league gets the rights to hold games on Saturday following the conclusion of college football’s regular season. This week, the league has a doubleheader scheduled, with the Bills-Broncos game kicking off in the afternoon before Green Bay hosts Carolina in the nightcap. But because the coronavirus pandemic shifted college football schedules around — the Big Ten’s in particular — Saturday is chock-full of football at both the college and professional levels.

The first notable game taking place this Saturday is the Big Ten Championship Game between Ohio State and Northwestern. Wisconsin and Minnesota will play after all at 2 PM Central for Paul Bunyan’s Axe. Then there is the ACC Championship between Clemson and Notre Dame at 3 CT, Bills-Broncos at 3:30, and the SEC title game at 7 before Green Bay and Carolina kick off.

It’s going to be a bizarre, crazy day, but fear not — even if you don’t have NFL Network via a cable or online TV subscription, you will have ways of watching the game without needing a paid membership to some sort of service. Check below for details on how to pull in this weekend’s game and get your Saturday plans together in advance.
