The Packers have ruled Jace Sternberger out and deemed Malik Taylor questionable for their upcoming game against the Carolina Panthers.
Sternberger left the Packers’ Week 13 victory over the Eagles with a concussion and has remained in the protocol since then. This is at least the second documented concussion of Sternberger’s still-young career.
Taylor, meanwhile, dropped out of practice last week with a hamstring injury and didn’t play against the Lions last week. He was a limited participant in practice each of the last two days.
Other than that, the Packers’ injury report is largely clear. About a dozen players were listed as limited participants in today’s practice, but head coach Matt LaFleur did not indicate any serious concerns about any of them, including edge rusher Rashan Gary. Gary left the Packers’ win over the Lions with a hip injury, but seems to have recovered quickly.
On the Panthers’ side, two players are listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game: running back Christian McCaffrey and guard Dennis Daley. The Panthers have also listed five players as questionable, including safety Tre Boston, tackle Russell Okung, and wide receiver Curtis Samuel.
