On Saturday night, the Green Bay Packer host the Carolina Panthers with their plan to keep themselves entrenched in the top spot in the NFC. On Sunday afternoon, however, the team trying to catch the Green and Gold has their best chance for a loss as they play the top team in the entire NFL.
This weekend, the Kansas City Chiefs can do the Packers a favor. Their game against the New Orleans Saints will be broadcast nationwide on Sunday afternoon, with the Chiefs posing New Orleans’ toughest challenge remaining over the Saints’ final three games. On the fast turf at the Superdome, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City offense will be tough to stop, and that could give the Packers a little bit of breathing room atop the NFC standings.
APC’s writers largely see a Chiefs win coming on Sunday. Pairing that with a Packers victory would put Green Bay up a game in the conference standings in addition to holding on to a head-to-head tiebreaker with New Orleans. Will that play out as we predict? Join us this weekend to follow along with all the games as we find out together.
