The Packers have activated two of the four remaining players on their COVID-19 reserve list, as tight end Jace Sternberger and defensive lineman Treyvon Hester returned to practice today.
Sternberger and Hester were placed on the reserve list along with kicker Mason Crosby on July 30. Crosby was activated prior to the Packers’ first practice on Saturday.
The Packers have placed five players on the list during training camp so far, but only long snapper Hunter Bradley and edge rusher Greg Roberts remain there. Both Bradley and Roberts are present for practice today, but not participating.
Roberts was the first player the Packers placed on the COVID-19 list, ending up there all the way back on July 28. Bradley was added on August 3.
Per NFL protocols, teams are not required to disclose whether players test positive for the virus or have just been exposed to infected individuals. So far, no Packers players who have ended up on the list have revealed their status.
