The Green Bay Packers are getting mixed injury news today as they return for their second padded practice of training camp.
After limping off the practice field Tuesday, left tackle David Bakhtiari is back at work for the Packers today, according to media in attendance. He’s joined by center Corey Linsley, who did not participate in the Packers’ first padded practice of the season. In his post-practice press conference, head coach Matt LaFleur didn’t seem concerned about either injury, and that seems to have been borne out on the field.
Packers long snapper Hunter Bradley also returned to practice today, having apparently been activated from the COVID-19 reserve list. Only Greg Roberts remains on the list as of this morning.
That’s the good news. On the less positive side, Za’Darius Smith was not present for the start of practice after dropping out midway through yesterday’s practice. Neither was Montravius Adams, who had to be carted off Tuesday.
Tight end Marcedes Lewis is also not in pads today, but no word on whether it’s an injury or just veteran rest.
