Happy Monday, Green Bay Packers fans, and welcome back to another week of practice in the team’s 2020 training camp. The Packers’ opening game of the 2020 season is now less than three weeks away, and the cut-down deadline to reach a 53-man roster is less than two weeks out. With those critical dates upcoming, the team is hard at work trying to get as much work in as possible to try to evaluate the roster and develop a depth chart for the opening week of the season.
The last few days saw some uncertainty around the NFL as a slew of false positive COVID testing results came out from one of the league’s partner laboratories. The Packers were one of the teams involved, but thankfully all of the positive test results were confirmed to be false positives as the laboratory performed an investigation.
So with Sunday’s practice going smoothly, it’s business as usual (well, as usual in this strange year) for the Packers. The team is back on the practice field once again today at 10:30 AM Central, with head coach Matt LaFleur and several players speaking to the media shortly afterwards.
Keep it here for updates throughout practice and during the Zoom press conferences afterwards.
