As the calendar moves ahead to Tuesday, the Green Bay Packers head back inside for practice. Back inside Lambeau Field, that is, as the team heads back onto the field for a full-pads session, likely to be one of the team’s most intense of training camp.
Monday was a light day for the team as they spent the hour or so practice out of pads, perhaps a bit of a recovery day. The team did get some good news on the injury front, as Za’Darius Smith and Jaire Alexander returned after missing a few days apiece. Now it’s time to crank the intensity up for a lengthy day of work, which will likely involve some live tackling drills at the end for younger players.
Following practice and Matt LaFleur’s daily Zoom call, the team is expected to make several players available for media pressers. Look for Jake Kumerow to hop on along with rookies Kamal Martin and Jon Runyan, and keep it here for live updates from practice and the media availability afterward.
