Thursday Night Football, Week 2: Bengals and Browns battle for Ohio

Are you ready for some ORANGE?

There will be a whole lot of that color on your television set this evening if you tune in for Thursday Night Football. The two professional teams in Ohio (no, we’re not going to make an Ohio State joke here) square off tonight for their first of two AFC North meetings this season in what will surely be a thrilling battle between two quarterbacks taken #1 overall in the NFL Draft.

On one sideline is Baker Mayfield, whom the Browns picked with the top selection in 2018. This offseason, the Bengals grabbed LSU’s Joe Burrow at number one, plugging him in immediately as their starter. Both teams share another similar around the number one: they are both 0-1 on the season, with the Browns getting blown out by the Baltimore Ravens and the Bengals losing a close game to the Chargers in the first week of the season.
