Much has changed since the last time the Green Bay Packers played in the Superdome. That was six years ago during a season that saw the Packers make an NFC Championship Game appearance but the Saints, who finished that year 7-9, would hand the Packers one of their four regular season losses by a convincing 44-23 score.
To put the timing in perspective, Jimmy Graham played for New Orleans in that game. In the NFL, six years is practically a lifetime.
But two constants remain from that 2014 meeting: Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees. The two veteran quarterbacks remain under center for their respective franchises and will draw in the casual fans — even if their fourth-year running backs, Aaron Jones and Alvin Kamara, are arguably just as impactful.
Like that game six years ago, this week’s comes on Sunday Night Football, giving the two teams a prime time stage to show their mettle. Here’s how to tune in for this weekend’s contest.
