It’s finally here. With the Green Bay Packers earning a bye week and the NFC’s top seed, they got to watch last weekend as six other conference foes battled for the right to advance to the Divisional Playoffs. Green Bay sat, watched, scouted, and generally rested up, and the Packers head into today’s game with as healthy and refreshed a roster they have had all season.

Coming into Lambeau Field this afternoon to face the Packers are the Los Angeles Rams, fresh off a 30-20 victory over their NFC West rivals, the Seattle Seahawks. The Rams suffered a handful of injuries in that game, however, and although Aaron Donald and Cooper Kupp will play, both will be dealing with significant issues.

Starting at quarterback for the Rams is Jared Goff, whose thumb surgery kept him out of the Rams’ week 17 game and sent him to the bench for the Wild Card game. However, an early injury to starter John Wolford brought Goff in, and he did enough — with the help of running back Cam Akers and an opportunistic defense — to help the Rams advance.

Will the Packers’ week off have them rested, sharp, and ready to go? Or will there be a little rust to shake off following a bye? This game features a close friendship between head coaches Matt LaFleur and Sean McVay as well as a tremendous matchup between the NFL’s best offense and its best defense.

As always, we have tweets from Packers media below and join us in the comments as we follow along with this afternoon’s game. Also, as an FYI, several APC staff members will be live on a video stream this evening after today’s game to break things down and take questions. So join us here or on our Discord during the game and keep an eye out for our postgame stream on Twitch and here on APC later on!
