NFL Wild Card Picks: Ravens-Titans is this weekend’s toughest game to predict

Like our favorite team, we as Green Bay Packers fans get to enjoy Wild Card weekend without drama. The Packers earned a free pass to the Divisional Round thanks to being the NFC’s top seed, and with it comes the ability to relax as six NFC teams battle in the next two days.

However, according to our writers here at Acme Packing Company, the results of the NFC’s games will come as no surprise. It was a clean sweep in our picks this week in all three games on that side of the NFL bracket, as the favorites — Seattle, Tampa Bay, and New Orleans — earned all of our picks straight-up. Although the point spread is a different story, with Washington and Chicago getting a few selections, the favorites all winning would send the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to Lambeau Field next weekend.

The AFC is where the one really interesting game resides. That game is the early game on Sunday between the Baltimore Ravens and the Tennessee Titans, two teams with elite rushing attacks. The Titans beat the top-seeded Ravens last year in the Divisional round, but this game takes place on the Titans’ home turf. Still, a slight majority of our writers pick the Ravens to pull the 5-4 upset and advance to play the Kansas City Chiefs next week. That would also be a change from the teams’ regular season meeting, a week 11 matchup that saw the Titans win 30-24 in overtime.
