Week 6 NFL Picks: Packers are road favorites again at Chicago

Will the Packers’ solid record against the spread continue this week with a 4.5-point advantage?

Soldier Field

Last week, the Green Bay Packers headed into Cincinnati as three-point favorites over the Bengals. Depending on when and where you saw the odds, however, there was a half-point swing in either direction, and that half-point was meaningful thanks to Mason Crosby’s (eventual) game-winning field goal. That delivered a 25-22 victory for Green Bay, a push according to the final line.

This week, the Packers travel to Chicago to play the Bears and will be road favorites for a second straight week. This week’s spread is a bit higher, with the Packers favored by 4.5 points against the 3-2 Bears.

Chicago comes in on a two-game winning streak, beating the Detroit Lions and Las Vegas Raiders in Justin Fields’ second and third starts. Those wins have coincided with Bill Lazor taking over playcalling duties from Matt Nagy, a move that has helped kick the Chicago offense into at least a passable gear.

So far, the Packers are 3-1-1 against the spread this season. Can they keep up that performance and take a two-game lead on the Bears in the NFC North with a head-to-head win in hand? Tune in on Sunday to find out and check out our picks below.
