After missing the last three games with an ankle injury, offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins will play against the Chicago Bears. Yesterday, when wide receiver Juwaan Winfree was brought up from the practice squad instead of offensive lineman Ben Braden, it seemed like the Packers were on track to play Jenkins, which they confirmed when they released their inactives list today. According to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, Jenkins is working as the starting left tackle today.

Wide receiver Malik Taylor (reserve/COVID-19), tackle Dennis Kelly (back), and cornerback Kevin King (shoulder) will all be missing the game as expected. Safety Vernon Scott, defensive lineman Jack Heflin, and inside linebacker Isaiah McDuffie are healthy scratches for the Packers today, but inside linebacker Jaylon Smith and cornerback Rasul Douglas will make their green and gold debuts.

Chicago, meanwhile, avoided catastrophe as wide receiver Allen Robinson (ankle), defensive lineman Akiem Hicks (groin), and pass-rusher Khalil Mack (foot) have all been cleared to play today. The three Pro Bowlers were all listed as questionable on Friday’s injury report.

Full inactives list vs Chicago Bears:

  • #20 Kevin King, CB (shoulder)
  • #36 Vernon Scott, SAF
  • #58 Isaiah McDuffie, ILB
  • #79 Dennis Kelly, OT (back)
  • #90 Jack Heflin, DL
