There are a number of similarities between the two teams facing off on Thursday Night Football this evening. The Cleveland Browns and Denver Broncos share some cosmetic similarities, both featuring orange as a prominent uniform color and both having the same first three letters of their team nicknames, but these teams also enter with matching .500 records after six weeks of the 2021 season.
Additionally, the two teams are led by their defenses. Myles Garrett and Von Miller remain among the NFL’s best pass-rushers, and both of these units rank nearly identically in passing and rushing yards allowed. Each team also faces injury questions to their starting quarterbacks — Baker Mayfield is out tonight, giving way to backup Case Keenum, while Teddy Bridgewater was questionable for the game with a leg injury.
So tonight, the two teams will meet near the Lake Erie shore to see which will take a step forward to get back to a winning record and stake a claim to a playoff spot and which will drop to 3-4 and potentially to last place in their division.
Here’s how to tune in for tonight’s game.
