Unlike Friday’s injury news, there were no surprises when the Packers released their inactives against the Steelers. Cornerback Kevin King (concussion) and tackle Elgton Jenkins (ankle) were listed as doubtful coming into today and will both be out against Pittsburgh. Both players missed Week 3, when Eric Stokes and Yosh Nijman replaced them in the starting lineup.

Three players were listed as questionable on the Packers’ end: defensive lineman Jack Heflin, safety Vernon Scott, and linebacker Krys Barnes. Heflin and Scott are going to play today, but Barnes has been ruled out. Scott is making his season debut, marking the first time the Packers have four safeties on gameday this season. With Barnes out, the assumption is that Ty Summers would start in place of him with Oren Burks rotating in for sub-packages.

The Packers’ fourth and final inactive is outside linebacker La’Darius Hamilton, who was picked up off of the Tampa Bay practice squad when Za’Darius Smith was placed on injured reserve. Hamilton is the final player on the Packers’ 53-man roster who has yet to be activated on game day this season.

The Steelers are out four players due to injury: receiver Chase Claypool, right tackle Chukwuma Okorafor, offensive lineman Rashad Coward, defensive tackle Carlos Davis. Claypool and Okorafor are not only contributors but starters for the team, leaving the Pittsburgh offense a little empty-handed coming into the game.
