Rams meet Seahawks in big NFC West tilt on Thursday Night Football in week 5

Fans of NFC contenders will want to tune in for this big early-week matchup.

Only two divisions across the NFL have every team at a 2-2 or better record through four weeks. Those divisions are the NFC West and AFC West, and two teams from the NFC West face off tonight in a big early-season matchup that also serves as a playoff rematch from last year’s Wild Card round.

This year’s Los Angeles Rams team has a different vibe on offense than last year’s however, thanks in large part to the arrival of quarterback Matthew Stafford. With him leading the way instead of Jared Goff, the Rams sit in 6th place in the NFL in points scored compared to last year’s 22nd-place finish.

Tonight they will face the Seattle Seahawks, who won the NFC West last year but who lost the teams’ Wild Card meeting in the Pacific Northwest in January. This year’s Seahawks team features the league’s worst defense in total yards and rushing yards, and it also sits bottom-five in passing yardage allowed. That looks like a bad sign against Stafford and the Rams this evening.

Join us as we follow along with this big early-season divisional clash, which will be available on a host of broadcast platforms today.
