Friday Cheese Curds: Davante Adams Returns

The best receiver in the league has come off the COVID list. Having Adams back in the lineup will be a huge boost for Jordan Love.

NFL: Washington Football Team at Green Bay Packers Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

Happy Friday, Packers fans.

It has been a WEEK hasn’t it? We’re all Rodgers’d out after news broke Wednesday the three-time MVP would be sidelined this week after testing positive for COVID-19.

Then we all had to debate “vaccinated” versus “immunized” and watched occasionally mindless debate fill our social media feeds. Not even a week after what should have been a season defining victory over the Arizona Cardinals, the entire narrative of the 2021 season has changed.

So rather than go through and recap all that stuff, how about a Rodgers-free zone and focus on some good news in Packer Nation in this edition of cheese curds?

As someone who has defended and continues to defend Love’s selection by the Packers, Sunday’s outcome could actually dictate the path the franchise will take in 2022 and beyond. The team will do whatever it takes for Love to succeed as QB1.
