Reporting as Eligible: Packers’ future endeavors and coaching hires

Mike and Shawn are gone, but will their replacements improve things?

Several Acme Packing Company contributors have joined forces for a Packers-focused podcast: Reporting As Eligible. If you’ve ever wondered what Paul Noonan, Rcon14, or Matub sound like in real life, tune in as they join JR Radcliffe of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel for discussion and banter about the Packers and whatever else is going on out there.

Paul, JR, and Matub wrap up the season in a nice little bow by discussing the potential replacements for the deposed Mike Pettine, with special attention on Ejiro Evero, Jim Leonhard, Jerry Gray, and Wade Phillips, even though we know it won’t be the last of the names on that list. Paul discusses the difference between Leonhard and Pettine in Collision Low Crossers, Matt touches on why Kris Richard was not one of our favorites, and boy, does Maurice Drayton have his work cut out for him.

The guys also answer tons of questions and posit hypotheticals about alternate worlds where the Packers did make the Super Bowl, a potential Aaron Rodgers extension, what — if any — free agents will be retained, and Big Little Lies.

Also, don’t draft tall corners. Please.
