There is now less than 36 hours until the start of the 2021 NFL Draft. Tomorrow night it all (finally) happens...or, at least, the first round will happen, and we should get a look at what the Packers think about some players in this draft class.
At this point, the best bets are on the Packers grabbing an offensive lineman, cornerback, or wide receiver with their first-round selection, potentially moving up to do so. Of course, general manager Brian Gutekunst will not let on to his strategy, but we can make some educated guesses as to which players will be in the running. Check out our “Packers Hot List,” which our Peter Bukowski compiled, as well as the list of cornerbacks who hit the Packers’ traditional athletic thresholds here for a quick primer.
Today’s curds will focus heavily on the secondary, as many outlets besides APC remain eager to project a player at that position to Green Bay in round one. Click through the links below and keep it here at APC today as we release our final mock draft and get ready for tomorrow night!
Future considerations paramount for Packers at cornerback | Packers.com
Obviously, the Packers need some long-term help at cornerback to supplement Jaire Alexander. But don't discount the safety position, as Adrian Amos has two years left on his deal and the team could use a lot of a safety trio with Darnell Savage's ability to cover in the slot.

McGinn breaks down the secondary in his annual draft series featuring "anonymous scout #1" and "anonymous scouts #2 through #32." It was clear that Patrick Surtain and Trevon Moehrig are seen as the top options at corner and safety, respectively, but the cornerback order behind Surtain is interesting.

Here are some more scouts discussing Farley's back issues, with one saying that he still won't get out of the top 20 let alone fall to 29.

There’s no love for Elijah Moore or Kadarius Toney here, apparently.

This writer disagrees a bit with a few of the players on this list, but only a few - it does capture most of my preferred options in round one.
