Believe it or not, football is back this evening. The Pro Football Hall of Fame Game kicks off the 2021 season, and NFL fans get preseason football for the first time in two years today. This year’s game features two of the most storied franchises in football, as the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers open up the season.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year will see two sets of individuals enshrined, as both the 2020 and 2021 classes will have their ceremonies over the weekend. Each of the teams playing in tonight’s game has a legendary head coach going into the hall this weekend, though as part of the 2020 enshrinement class rather than 2021’s group.
The 2020 class, which includes such luminaries as Bill Cowher, Jimmy Johnson, Isaac Bruce, Edgerrin James, and Troy Polamalu, will be enshrined on Saturday evening. Then on Sunday, the 2021 class takes the stage, with Charles Woodson, Peyton Manning, Calvin Johnson, and others joining the elite club.
Join APC here tonight to follow along with the first game of the 2021 season!
