Week 4 NFL Picks: Packers enter weekend as big favorites over Steelers

Will the Packers flip their fortunes from the last few regular-season meetings against Pittsburgh and pull off a victory?

The last three regular season meetings between the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers have resulted in some thrilling finishes, but the Packers have come up short in all three contests. This week, with the two historic franchises meeting at Lambeau Field on Sunday, Green Bay will hope to flip their fortunes and instead channel their performance in Super Bowl XLV instead, when they won their 13th NFL championship.

Unlike the most recent meeting between these teams, when Aaron Rodgers was injured and Green Bay was a two-touchdown underdog, the Packers come into this week’s game as substantial favorites, carrying a 6.5-point spread as of Thursday. It’s not hard to see why — Green Bay is coming in hot, fresh off a last-second victory over the San Francisco 49ers, while the Steelers have dropped two straight including most recently to the Cincinnati Bengals, who finished last season 4-11-1.

Will the Packers respond with a win by a touchdown or more? Or will Ben Roethlisberger and company come in as the underdog and make this game a nail-biter, much like Brett Hundley did in 2017? APC sees the former being the likely scenario. Check out our picks for this game and all of the week 4 contests below!
