Tonight, the NFL’s week 13 schedule gets underway with a matchup between two teams that played one week ago on Thanksgiving Day. The Dallas Cowboys demolished the Washington Commanders in the late afternoon game before the Seattle Seahawks took a loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the nightcap.

Tonight, the Cowboys and Seahawks square off in a battle between teams currently holding the #5 and #6 seeds in the NFC playoff picture. A Dallas win threatens to push Seattle out of playoff positioning entirely, while a Seahawks victory would pull them to within a game of Dallas for that #5 spot.

This game also has significant playoff implications for the Green Bay Packers, who are suddenly chasing down the Seahawks and the Minnesota Vikings for Wild Card spots. A Dallas win keeps the Packers’ playoff odds over 50 percent, according to the New York Times’ simulator, and the Packers could climb into a tie with Seattle and Minnesota if Dallas wins tonight and Green Bay upsets the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football.

Conversely, a Seahawks victory would drop the Packers’ odds down to 45% from 50%, as Seattle would stay at least a full game up on Green Bay even with a Packers win.

Join us to see which team comes out on top and whether the result helps or hurts the Packers’ chances of making the postseason.
