Will quarterback Jordan Love avenge his first start against Kansas City? The red hot Packers passing game will have its last great test of the season versus the Chiefs this weekend.

If you can believe it, the Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks now have as many losses as the Green Bay Packers. With the Passtronaut finally coming back down to Earth in Minnesota and the Seahawks losing four of their last five games, the Packers are probable to make the 2023 playoffs.

According to The New York Times’ playoff simulator, the Packers (55 percent) actually have a better chance to make the postseason than either the Vikings (50 percent) or Seahawks (27 percent). A win against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football would go a long way to making that playoff dream a reality for the Packers, as the simulator claims that a 6-6 Green Bay squad would have a 72 percent chance to make the postseason. After this Chiefs game, the Packers will probably have the easiest five-week strength of schedule left in the NFL, which should help their case, too.

In this week’s episode of Intercepted, Acme Packing Company’s Justis Mosqueda discusses the upcoming Packers vs. Chiefs matchup with Arrowhead Pride’s Stephen Serda, who comes armed with all the latest happenings in Kansas City. In some ways, these teams are very similar — in that their passing games are going through growing pains this season — but in other ways — like their defensive structure — they couldn’t be more different.
