Reporting as Eligible - A Giant Heap

What can we take away from this disaster, and what’s going to continue to be a problem?

NFL: Green Bay Packers at New York Giants Vincent Carchietta-USA TODAY Sports

Several Acme Packing Company contributors have joined forces for a Packers-focused podcast: Reporting As Eligible. If you’ve ever wondered what Paul Noonan, Tyler Brooke, or Matub sound like in real life, tune in as they join JR Radcliffe of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel for discussion and banter about the Packers and whatever else is going on out there.

On this episode of Reporting as Eligible, the guys recap a truly terrible loss in which the Packers failed in every aspect of football, and possibly a few other sports. Why can’t Love throw a spiral? Has Keisean Nixon played the game before? Is Matt LaFleur still calling jet sweeps somewhere peaceful and quiet? Did Rashan Gary and Preston Smith get “Varsity Blues Wasted” before the game? And is the prevent defense a good idea? Of course it isn’t! But despite its 0% success rate people continue to run it.

So where does this leave the team? Are they still playoff bound or will they be embarrassingly passed by the Bears at some point? Which problems will stick and which were just a poor game? And just how much can we expect with all of the receivers injured? And also, why didn’t Jordan Love just follow Tucker Kraft? I mean, good lord man!

Plus listener questions, as Reporting as Eligible serves up a huge helping of copium.
