Tucker Kraft was one player who showed up with positives, both live and on film review.

While it may feel like everything went wrong for the Green Bay Packers on Monday night, that’s not entirely true. Yes, almost everything was a mess. But there were actually a few — a very few — bright spots among the ugliness of their loss to the New York Giants.

Among those bright spots was the play of rookie tight end Tucker Kraft, who continues to play well in an expanded role. Kraft played every offensive snap and another 12 on special teams for a total of 80 plays, and he’s showing why the Packers were so excited about him as a third-round draft pick.

Kraft’s big plays in the passing game have been exciting, but it has been his blocking that might be impressing the most. Take a look at one of the links in today’s cheese curds to see exactly what we mean.

A couple Kraft blocks sprung big gains, including one for rookie receiver Jayden Reed, who was also partially responsible for a few of the Packers’ highlights this week. Luckily for Green Bay, Reed does not have a concussion and appears on track to play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this coming weekend.

That last game was painful to watch live, but at least there are some positives — just a few, but still some — to take away from it.

Bucs RB Rachaad White provides added stressor for Packers defense in pass game | Packers Wire
The Packers haven’t been carved up too much by running backs catching the ball out of the backfield this season, keeping the likes of Jaylen Warren and Austin Ekeler in check. But White is one of the best in the NFL in that area, and he’ll put a challenge on Green Bay’s linebackers.
