For Cheddar or Wurst: Packers can’t rely on Joe Barry to be a Hall monitor

Is Jaren Hall about to go Tommy DeVito on Joe Barry? Green Bay had better hope not if they want to make the playoffs.

Riddle me this: when is a win really a loss?

When the Green Bay Packers beat the Carolina Panthers by the hair on their chins.

Green Bay’s unnecessary 33-30 nail biting victory in Charlotte on Christmas Eve further soured the fan base towards defensive coordinator Joe Barry and it’s now inconceivable that he’ll be on staff after this season ends.

This is what happens when you allow Baker Mayfield and Bryce Young have career games in back-to-back contests and come within a whisker of blowing a two-score lead to the worst team in the National Football League.

That being said, the Packers’ playoff hopes are still alive regardless of they beat the Panthers. Next up on the list? Beating the Vikings at US Bank Stadium.

In the latest edition of “For Cheddar or Wurst,” Kris and Lindsay wonder how many records Justin Jefferson will break Sunday night as Green Bay won’t have Jaire Alexander or Eric Stokes available.

Thankfully they think Jordan Love is up to the challenge and also try to navigate the mess that is the Alexander suspension and what it means for both the player and the organization in 2024 and beyond.

They also wonder if Vikings rookie quarterback Jaren Hall will go Tommy DeVito on the Green Bay defense and no, that is not a good thing if you’re a Packers fan.
