For Week 14, the Green Bay Packers are traveling to East Rutherford, NJ to take on the New York Giants. The contest will be the second primetime slot in a row for the Packers, as this is the Monday night game. The line set by the folks at DraftKings has the Packers favored by 6.

The Packers have been playing the best football of the season these last few weeks and it’s caught the attention of the oddsmakers. The team is on a streak of three wins in a row while opening as the underdogs in every single contest. The LA Chargers, Detroit Lions, and Kansas City Chiefs were favored by 3 points, 8.5 points, and 6.5 points respectively.

The Giants are returning from their bye week but secured two back-to-back wins before the break. While the Packers took on two teams that are likely playoff-bound and one who were third in their division, the Giants have beaten up on two last-place opponents. Their wins came as a trouncing of the floundering Washington Commanders and a very ugly contest against the New England Patriots.

The quality of victories aside, as of right now the Giants are still rolling with their third option at quarterback in Tommy DeVito. The preferred starter, Daniel Jones, is out for the season with a torn ACL. The main backup, Tyrod Taylor, is currently on IR for a rib injury suffered in Week 8.

DeVito has shown to be inconsistent over his three starts but did fair well against Washington with three touchdowns and no interceptions. With that said, it is currently up in the air who will actually start for the Giants. Just this morning it was announced that Tyrod Taylor has been designated to return from Injured Reserve.

Should Taylor be named starter during the week, expect the line to move slightly. For now, with DeVito at the helm, the Packers remain the strong favorites.

The money line has been set for the Packers at -265 which roughly translates to the team being given a ~72% chance at success. The over/under is 37.5, but that could also change should the Giants name DeVito as the backup.
