The Packers are 7-point underdogs in Texas, so they’ll need some magic from Love and the young offense to advance.

Six games in three days — that’s the schedule on tap for the NFL’s Super Wild Card Weekend. The first round of the playoffs for the 2023 season get underway on Saturday afternoon with the Cleveland Browns taking on the Houston Texans, and football fans will have a fascinating and compelling slate of games through into Monday night.

There are a few storylines that will dominate the headlines this weekend. On Saturday night, the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins are expected to play in one of the coldest NFL games on record, with temperatures forecasted to be below zero Fahrenheit and wind chills of minus-20 degrees or lower. Then on Sunday, the Green Bay Packers will play against their former head coach, Mike McCarthy, and the Dallas Cowboys. In that game, we also have Jordan Love’s first postseason game to add to the intrigue. Sunday night’s game features the Detroit Lions playing a home playoff game for the first time in 30 years, and they will be welcoming in their former quarterback, Matthew Stafford, when they do so.

But through all of the narratives, there are six football games to be played, and we at APC have made our picks for each of them. The Packers are seven-point underdogs in Texas this weekend, so they’ll need to overcome that touchdown spread if they want to advance to a Divisional Round game against the San Francisco 49ers next week.

Here are our picks for this weekend’s games, and be sure to bring it back to APC on Sunday afternoon for full coverage of Packers-Cowboys!
