APC Podcast, 10/24: What’s the Packers’ magic cure?

If you had a magic wand, what’s the one problem you’d fix for this year’s Packers?

The bye week couldn’t have come at a better time for the Green Bay Packers, who are currently doggy-paddling in second place in the muddy NFC North. The bye week not only presents a chance to get healthy — with Aaron Rodgers, Randall Cobb, Geronimo Allison, and Jaire Alexander (to name a few) nursing injuries — but it also allows coach Mike McCarthy time to self scout and scheme for two tough upcoming games against the Rams and the Patriots. For what it’s worth, McCarthy has a 9-3 record in contests following a Packers bye week.

But what if... maybe... you had a magic wand? Hear me out. What if — over the bye week —you could fix one problem for the Packers with a single wave of your wand. What Patronus would you summon to cure what ails the team, perhaps propelling them to a Super Bowl berth? Outside linebacker? Safety? A new head coach? We took to twitter (@theAPCpod) to ask the masses, and used the responses to guide a spirited discussion about what fix would make the most impact on the team.

Listen in and enjoy!
