APC Podcast, 11/2: Can the Packers win in New England? Feat. Pod Vader

Jay Soderberg stops by to lend a Patriots fan perspective to our preview of Sunday night’s tilt.

In one of this NFL season’s most anticipated prime time matchups, the Green Bay Packers are set to take on the New England Patriots this weekend on Sunday Night Football. For many, it’s Aaron Rodgers versus Tom Brady — the battle of the GOATS. For others. it’s Mike McCarthy versus Bill Belichick, two of the longest tenured head coaches in football; although with a notably imbalanced distribution of hardware.

This may be just another game for the Patriots, who have found their offensive rhythm and are striding effortlessly toward another postseason, but it means much more to the Packers. A loss here wouldn’t be a season killer, but it would be pretty demoralizing.

With all of that to look forward to, we were pleased to be joined by Jay Soderberg on today’s show to help preview the game. Jay (@theRealPodVader) is the founder of the Next Fan Up podcast and a lifelong Pats fan. Spoiler alert: he makes it maybe two minutes before opining about Dan Connolly’s 71-yard kickoff return against the Matt Flynn-led Packers in 2010.
