As we traipse into the weekend, bellies full of turkey and pie, the stage is set for a battle for sole possession of second place in the NFC North. The Minnesota Vikings are 5-4-1, while the Green Bay Packers are 4-5-1. That tie, of course, came between the two teams back in week 2 — an unsatisfying 29-29 finish at Lambeau which now looms large. This time, it’s off to the Bird Killer in Minneapolis, a (suspiciously) loud venue that presents many challenges for visiting squads. In fact, as Alex has previously mentioned on the podcast, one Vegas cohort claims that Minnesota has the most meaningful home field advantage in the entire NFL.
To help us preview this game, we’re joined by Arif Hasan of the Athletic. As both our seasons have not played out as we expected, this conversation takes on a much different tone than that of our earlier chat. Dig in for some friendly rivalry banter and honest assessments of our respective teams.
