The Green Bay Packers successfully executed a “get right” game on Sunday, leaving a snowy MetLife Stadium with a 31-13 win over the New York Giants. While the final score implies a whistle-to-whistle boat race, our inner “entitled-town” fan couldn’t help but feel like the real-time viewing experience was more frustrating than we’d hoped or planned.
Indeed, despite the defense only giving up 13 points to the home team, their inability to get off the field and give the ball back to Aaron Rodgers, has become a through line — one that has many fans beginning to turn on Mike Pettine, the once beloved defensive coordinator.
With the perception being that Green Bay’s Super Bowl window is closing, should Mark Murphy, Matt LaFleur, and company make a change at the head of the defense? Ben and Zach discuss that question and dive into the listener mailbag in this week’s pod.
