This year’s NFL Combine has come and gone. The schmoozing concluded, the stop watches stashed, and Indianapolis returned to its usual routine. Having watched all the action — or as much as was possible for one single person — our own Evan “Tex” Western concludes his combine coverage with a little wrap-up session on the podcast.
On today’s episode, we discuss everything from the unpopular schedule changes to some of the personal stories that illuminate the often overshadowed human element of the whole circus.
We also dive into some names at three specific position groups — wide receiver, linebacker and offensive lineman — and discuss possible fits with the Green Bay Packers.
Does Tex’s list reflect who you’re interested in? Are there other names you think are worth some air time? Let us know in the comments below!
In one way or another, cancer touches all of our lives. That’s why the podcast is teaming up with Cycle for Survival. Every dollar you give funds innovative studies and clinical trials led by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Want to wear your support? Acme Packing Company has also released a new t-shirt and hoodie in honor of the quarterback’s very public love affair with scotch whisky. 100% of our proceeds from those sales also go to support Alex’s Cycle for Survival team. Click to see the shirts!
